We have NEVER experienced a pizzeria quite like this! Pizza in Buenos Aires can be a lovely, sloppy, cheesy affair. These people put cheese on top of their cheese (kinda like I put ketchup on top of my ketchup!). The place was absolutely packed with locals! If we wanted to eat like the locals....we would have to stand at rows of tiny bars in the lobby. We preferred seats! The problem was...there were no seats available (remember? the place was packed!).
We finally snagged a seat in the back of the restaurant. Pointed to a mozzarella pizza on the menu. BAM! Within 10 seconds...the waiter returns with a fresh, steamin' hot pizza. It was like magic! Just looking at the cheese on this pizza made my arteries cringe! But my stomach kept begging for more....and Jenesa and I obliged by shoveling slice after slice down the hatch!
Let's just say there's pizza....and then there's pizza! This stuff gave you goosebumps knowing that every bite was going to be even better than the last.
