Upon seeing Iguazu Falls, the United States First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt reportedly exclaimed, "Poor Niagara!"
Iguazu or Iguassu or Iguaçu comes from the Guarani words "y" meaning "water," and "waˈsu" meaning "big." The Falls originate from the Iguazu River and are located on the border of Brazil and Argentina. This river forms the boundary between Brazil and Argentina, making it a
significant part of the political and geographical structure of the
continent of South America.
The Leonard's certainly don't mess around when they travel around the world. We want to see and do as much as possible, and sometimes we like to do it in style! Today was no exception. As soon as we arrived in Iguazu from Rio, we immediately took flight again to see the Falls.
